Ph.D student from “Federico II University” Napoli, Italy. Works in Messina at the IAMC (Institute for Coastal Marine Environment) CNR (National Council of Research) of  Messina under the supervision of Dr. Michail M. Yakimov and Dr. Laura Giuliano.

Visiting Researcher with Dr. Zhou's lab from November 16, 2006 to March 8, 2007 to learn about microarray techniques and apply FGAII to samples. Samples came from an anoxic hypersaline basin situated in the eastern side of the Mediterranean (http://www.geo.unimib.it/BioDeep/BD.ht) sea and are characterized by total anoxic condition, high H2S concentration, high salt concentration (Cl 180 g/l) and high pressure (~35MPa).
